It is no exaggeration to say that everything about these wind chimes is exceptional. The careful packaging, the craftsmanship, the unbelievable sound quality, and their design have surprised me from the moment I opened this box.I am a picky person when it comes to wind chimes. They need to make the right rich sounds, have a good weight to them, and they have to make me love hearing them when the wind blows. Looks are nothing to me if they are good wind chimes. THESE are all of the things I must have, AND BEAUTIFUL too!It has:•Wood top, clapper and weight-(*the weight has a beautiful message written on it).•Large and sturdy hook to hang them by.•Thick cords holding the wind chime pieces together that will last through bad weather.•6 black metal chimes with beveled silver edges.•Symapthy card and envelope on good, thick card stock.•A message card with a lovely quote on it.•Amazing sound quality!These are more than good chimes. They are the best I have found in years, and I've had, and still do have, many others to draw fair comparisons with.I HIGHLY recommend these!

I read other reviews and I have to agree; these are really good quality wind chimes! The presentation in the gift box is reverent and classy. The enclosed card is on nice heavy weight paper, including the envelope. The tone of the chimes isn’t tinny or harsh, they produce a nice rich sound.These chimes are in the key of B major or at least very closely tuned to B major.One really nice feature is that the striker is adjustable so that if you don’t want them making noise for any reason, you can slide it down and the chimes are silent (see video and 1st picture). The hanging hook is metal (as opposed to some that are just string) and feels nice and solid. Also, all the words and images on the wind catcher part are embossed and feel nice to the touch.Overall, I feel these would be a very nice gift for someone mourning the loss of a loved one. I have lost some people, and I have remembered them with wind chimes. This will be a welcome addition in our yard.

These chimes are beautiful. I bought them for myself in memory of my dad, but the kit comes in a beautiful presentation box that would be suitable to gift to a bereaving family. It is a charcoal dark Grey with black velour inside, and foam underneath to hold the item still in a package. It comes with a 4.5 x 6" poem on a thick paper, that is suitable to be matted and framed. There is also a black and silver embossed sympathy card, about 4.5 x 6".They are so well-made without any imperfections. The sound is clear and harmonious. I absolutely love them.Super value for the emotional impact this would give. I ordered for myself, but cried when I opened it.Read less

Absolutely beautiful! I unfortunately had to say see ya later to my 14yr baby. He loved to sit on the couch which is in front of a window and soak up the sun. This gorgeous very well constructed & professionally packaged with care and a thoughtful condolence card inside. This brought tears of sorrow then of joy for the ongoing wonderful memories of him sitting in the window .
